Mail Button

Just opened the Customize Toolbar window for the first time in a long while, and saw that the Mail button is broken in the palette. When i dropped it on a toolbar it looked OK again, but then switching to Icons + Text mode revealed its brokenness again. Not sure if this is from something i was working on before and didn’t finish, or some test i didn’t undo, or just something that broke in 1.0. I seem to remember that there was some activity with it at some point, but i’m not sure.

It’s now i realize how simply useful Firefox’s default button set is. The only real customization i ever do is moving the Bookmarks Toolbar Items up to the right of the Menu, which saves a toolbar height’s worth of vertical space. (I also added the Downloads button to the right of the Home button as a link drop target, but i rarely use that.) I haven’t really missed anything, or felt handicapped in any way. I could probably even lose the Home button—i don’t think i ever truly use it. About the only time i end up changing and rearranging stuff is when testing theme changes.
