Yeah, so a little while ago i noticed that the ever-moving Gmail Invite link had changed into an input box on the left asking for an email address. “Ehh,” i think—big deal. They move it around and rephrase it all the time. But now all of the sudden i have 50 invites, up from the eight that were already getting stale. I don’t even know 50 people. Let alone 50 people that want or need to use Gmail. wtf. The logo still says “BETA”, but maybe Google is ready to go public. If giving everyone 50 invites isn’t going public already.
