I’m seriously considering downgrading my turn signal/hazard switch back to the original part. I miss the thick, loud pop the original switch made. The recall replacement part makes a thin click that sounds like the signal in every other car. Maybe i’ll find a scrap one and stick it in until it breaks, and keep the recall part as a backup. The original sound was distinctly Volkswagen and part of the identity of this car.
