Comment Subscriptions Enabled

Hey, gang. You can now subscribe to the comments on posts here at miahz.com—which is to say, you’ll get an email notification when someone comments on a post you’re subscribed to. That way you can keep track of the on-going conversations and know when someone replies to one of your comments. Just check the little box next to “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” when you leave a comment to join the club.

Now for the behind-the-scenes portion. I’m using Mark Jaquith’s Subscribe To Comments 2.0 plugin for WordPress. Installation was too easy, just dropped the new files and activated. All i changed was the “from” email address for the email notifications. Let me know if you have any problems.

cool. this should be good, since i seem to comment consistently.
it’s already pretty easy for me to tell when you’ve updated since i put you in my bloglines subscription but knowing when you’ve responded to me comments would be supreme

Well well well. Check out miss hi-tech over here with the Bloglines. If you got it like that, then you could just subscribe to the comments feed too: http://miahz.com/comments/feed/

How do you like Bloglines? I’ve been using Google’s Reader and it works fine for me, but i haven’t tried anything else.
