My secret weapon? Simply use the mobile twitter site (m.twitter.com), instead of the standard version. This tip eliminates most of the suggestions you mention for speeding up the page load time. It’s lean, with no images or scripts, and loads fast. Using 2 tabs (1 pre-loaded with @namecheap), I’ve been able to win 10+ times this way.

Finally read your tips – nice to see it’s pretty close to my techniques. Mind you I did win a couple from my iPhone – no cut’n'paste, no floating windows, must hit “done”, manual keying of Google searches, yadda, yadda, yadda – but it sure is easier being fast at home!
