Speaking of sequels… I’m watching it right now, and hating it for the same reason i hated it when i saw in the theater. Paul Greengrass is an idiot who apparently has never heard of a tripod. Was actually pretty good. The main impression i was left with is how differently films are made nowadays. The same film released today would probably either bomb or be regarded as some indie-style hit. All the credits were at the beginning, so when it ends it’s really over. Could be called Get Rid Of Me If You Can. Kind of a “cute” movie, but still plenty entertaining. Had good ol’ Kumar from Bottle Rocket doing assorted juggling tricks. The little back-and-forth dialogs between Viktor and Dixon amused me. I loved the shot when the Russian stopped hugging Viktor to reveal Dixon’s stern face. [ READ MORE ]
