Got a car. My first car that’s mine. It’s the best car i’ve ever driven—which might not seem like much considering i used to rock old minivans like a champ, but it’s pretty freaking money regardless. It’s got the prettiest green color (and relatively uncommon, which was the deal-clincher); the dealer had it tagged as “Key Lime Green,” but based on my brother’s original brochure i think the offical color name is “Green Rave.” It was in mint condition, and i ended up getting a pretty good deal on it. The rest goes without saying.
And then the fellas moved in to their new townhouse, so of course that’s the new spot. We christened it with a little System Link and late-night do-nothingness. As usual. Parking sucks, but otherwise it’s a pretty sweet place in a decent location. I just wasn’t too happy about having to leave my new car way down on the street.
Still trying to get comfortable with the manual, but i’m doing a lot better than i thought i would having only ever driven one for a few weeks several years ago. I didn’t stall it until i backed into the driveway when i got home a while ago. I’ll blame it on the tiredness. And my left calf is a little sore from clutching. But hey—gotta build them calf muscles. That’s what it’s all about, ladies.
