Just upgraded to 1.3-alpha-4 (nightly 2004-11-02). I think everything’s still working. Had to make a few changes since i put WordPress into a dir instead of the root. And instead of copying and changing index.php to the root as the “official” directions say, i made a rewrite rule to point to the index.php in the WordPress dir. And to my amazement it works, because i have very little idea of what i’m doing when it comes to rewrite rules. I just hope there’s no drawbacks to doing it that way. The new admin panel looks pretty. The few bugs i could think of as i clicked around, such as nested categories not appearing in the edit page, seem to be fixed. Now begins rebuilding my template and theme, and converting the static LCD pages to WordPress pages, and all that other time-consuming stuff.
