I, Robot (2004)

This was popped in just to have something on, but i ended up watching the whole thing. It’s a fun movie. And i have no idea why Shia LaBeouf is in this movie—his role had nothing at all to do with the plot—but it’s all good, cuz he’s pretty funny. And i really want to like Bridget Moynahan. She can look really good (not so much when she’s nerded out in the beginning of the movie), but she was just not hittin’ the acting thing. Will Smith was Will Smith—a cop on a foot chase in the city streets.

Viewed on DVD, and i was kinda wishing it was on a highdef source; things looked like they could have been much crisper.

Yes they could have been…I saw this in a theatre and it was one of those things were certain scenes looked really cool and then there were scenes that could be described as UltraVioletesque…..I thought the development of the robot characters was ingenious actually b/c it seems like the idea has been there in several other movies but they never quite seem to carry off “psychology” of the whole “robots take over the world thing”. Of course this is strictly my opinion.
