So i went in to get a new bulb, and ended up getting an oil change and some other stuff checked out. And supposedly they’re supposed to wash it when you bring it in for service, which it needed because it was filthy. But the hosers did a poop-job of it. There were spots of dirt that hadn’t been touched. Lousy. So i had to redo the whole thing today in the 40°-and-dropping temperatures. And the best part is that since it’s been freezing, the hose has been disconnected and the water lines drained. So i had to bucket wash it—filling up with hot water in the shower then hauling it out to the driveway. I had planned on just waxing it, with maybe a little spot-washing on anything that got dirty since last night, but after inspecting it in the daylight, there was no way to shortcut it. And to top it off, i’ve never waxed a car before, and it was this spray stuff that didn’t spray very well, and it was dark, and it was probably way too cold. But it looked pretty shiny in the dark.
