The new Plugin Finder Service in Firefox 1.0PR is sweet. The little info bar pops up at the top telling you what the deal is, and all you gotta do is click the button. It checks for needed plugins, lets you pick what to install, then hooks it all up for you. I saw it pop up earlier while browsing because i didn’t have Flash installed, but hesitated because i didn’t want to restart the browser at the moment. But just now i went ahead and tried it, and it installed Flash which then started playing right away—no restart necessary. Now i want to look for other pages that need plugins so i can try it out some more.

Wow, i just noticed that Matt uses the infinity symbol on his post titles in a typographically very similar way to how i set up the permalinks to my “wanderings,” which are basically “asides,” which i got from Matt. Hmm.
