Put yourself in the vampires’ shoes and he is the antagonist—the myth, the legend. I never thought of it that way. The included clip of the alternate original comes closer to illustrating the concept. I’m more interested in reading the book now—the film’s theatrical release didn’t portray that concept flip. Or if it did, i didn’t get it.
